In this UX research case study, we explore the user experience and effectiveness of behavioral treatment programs for substance abuse in Ohio. Our goal is to gain insights into the perceptions, needs, and challenges faced by both patients and healthcare providers to identify opportunities for enhancing the overall effectiveness of these programs.

Research Objectives

Research Methods

  • User Interviews: Conducted in-depth interviews with individuals who have undergone or are currently undergoing behavioral treatment for substance abuse. Explored their motivations, experiences, challenges, and outcomes.

  • Surveys: Distributed online surveys to a broader audience of individuals who have engaged with behavioral treatment programs. Collected quantitative data on satisfaction levels, perceived effectiveness, and areas of improvement.
